A high ranking member of the Royal Guard he is alerted to the party attempting to contact Leanna Marshall about Carson Baird. When taking them in for questioning he learns that Myrnin works for Baz through his use of Thieves' Cant. He tells the group to meet him at Sual's later in the evening.
