Desert Bugs

The group spent the night at the Goliaths' camp before accompanying them to the tomb cave. After saying their goodbyes they continue traveling north. Along the journey they take some time to go fishing and throw each other into the river. On the second day of travel they are attacked by a Kruthik Hive Lord and four members of its hive. While the Lord is formidable with his acid spray attack, the group is able to avoid the worst of it and dispatch the creatures without too much trouble.

Night Terrors

As the group continues to head north they come out of the desert and into grassland territory. A day into traveling the plains, the river bends away and the group says goodbye to it. As they sleep that evening, a distracted watch allows a group of cyclops to sneak up on them an surprise them. After taking their lumps, the group settles in and is able to take care of the threat, sleeping in the next morning to ensure they are well rested. Carna consults the maps and confirms they should make the edge of the jungle by nightfall.
